On September 12, 2024, at the Accenture facilities in Assago, the IT Support and Cybersecurity Specialist certificate was awarded to the 29 students of ReadyForIT | Refugees who successfully completed the four-month training program, including official Cisco Academy courses, delivered by Academy Rapido.

For all participants, it was also an opportunity to meet companies and employment agencies, with individual meetings held in the afternoon to lay the groundwork for future professional placement. The interviews were conducted by Accenture, Adecco, Alascom, Avanade, E-work, Experis, Generali, Gi Group, Oliver James Professionals, Orienta, Pirelli, and Randstad.

• Safia Poya and Mohamad Rafi Haidary, students from the 2023 edition of ReadyForIT | Refugees and now employed in companies, shared their experiences. They were joined by Alessia Giglio, Talent Acquisition at EY, and Milena Barra, Trainer & Coach at Asystel, in a panel moderated by Elena Atzeni, Integration Associate at UNHCR Italy.
